Last weekend, the LPGA Tour hosted its CME Group Tour Championship 2021, held at Tiburon Golf Club – Gold Course in Naples, Florida. Jin Young Ko professional women’s golfer continued her domination this week with all four rounds in the 60’s. This included a Saturday round of 6-under, 66 with 7 consecutive birdies on the front nine. Jin Young Ko LPGA golfer then finished strong with a bogey-free, 9 birdie Sunday round of 63, to finish on top at -23. In this tournament, Jin Young showed historical consistency, hitting 63 consecutive greens in regulation. This win marks her 12th LPGA title, and her fifth win this season.

Jin Young Ko held off Japan’s Nasa Hataoka to clinch the CME Group Tour Championship, the $1.5 million pay cheque, and the player of the year title. Four players came into the fourth round tied at the top of the leaderboard but it developed into a two-horse race.

Lydia Ko Captures Vare Trophy With Stellar Finish | LPGA

Also, congratulations also to Lydia Ko who won the Vare Trophy for having the low stroke average for the season. Lydia had a final round of 64 to finish T9 and record her 10th top 10 of 2021.
